4.軽自動車税(種別割)の減免申請
Exemption and reduction of Light Vehicle Tax (Kei car, 660CC or less,
Type-based imposition)
Municipal Tax Division (Shiminzei Ka)
Light Vehicle Tax (Type-based imposition) is exempted or reduced in certain
cases. Person who newly receives exemption or reduction, please come to
Municipal Tax Division for application by May 31 (Fri.). If you have applied by
the fiscal year 2023, send back the document issued for “Kei car tax report and
application form for Kei car tax exemption or reduction” (Genkyo Hokoku Sho
and Genmen Shinsei Sho) which was mailed in the end of March. The eligible
cases are as follows.
■The Kei car that a disabled person owns: (Admitted only one car per
person.) For person, physically, intellectually, or mentally disabled. Some cases
may not meet the eligibility depending on type or degree of the disability.
Persons who receive exemption or reduction of automobile tax (Type-based
imposition, standard-sized car) or welfare taxi subsidy (Except welfare taxi
subsidy for severely disabled person) in the fiscal year 2024 are excluded.
Necessary documents: Bring following things to the Municipal Tax Division.
Vehicle inspection certificate (Shaken Sho) etc.
Driver’s license
Physically Disabled Person’s Handbook (Shintai Shogaisha Techo),
Rehabilitation Handbook (Ryoiku Techo), or Mental Disability Certificate
(Seishin Shogaisha Hoken Fukushi Techo)
Certification of the Same Livelihood (Seikei Doitsu Shomei Sho) (In case that
the household of the driver or the owner (Tax debtor) and the household of the
disabled person etc. are different.)
■The car remodeled to use for a physically disabled person: Kei car
which has an elevating device for wheelchair and so on
Necessary documents: Vehicle inspection certificate (Shaken Sho) etc. A
photo to prove car registration number and how the car was remodeled
5.特定健診・後期高齢者医療健診受診券を送付
Medical coupons for special health examination and health examination
of the Late-stage Medical Care System for the Elderly, will be delivered
Insurance and Pension Division (Hoken Nenkin Ka)
Medical coupons will be delivered in the end of April for special health
examination (for person aged 40 or older joining National Health Insurance)
and health examination (for person joining the Late-stage Medical Care System
for the Elderly) of the fiscal year 2024.
The coupons are valid until February 10 (Mon.), 2025. On the day of the health
examination, persons without qualification of National Health Insurance or the
Late-stage Medical Care System for the Elderly, cannot have the health
examination. For details such as how to take health examination etc., please
confirm the guide enclosed with medical coupon.
6.市遺児の育成をはかる手当を支払います
Allowance for bringing up orphans is paid
Child Rearing Support Division (Kosodate Shdien Ka)
April payment quota (For March and April) is paid on April 15 (Mon.) to
designated bank account. Since there will not be individual notifications, please
do self-confirmation with bank book etc.
