Guidance for Nursery Schools and Kindergartens admission from April,
2023 school year
Nursery School Administration Division (Hoiku Ka)
■Kindergartens (Yochi-en):
Kindergartens provide various educational programs depending on the child’s
development. Application guidelines and forms will be distributed from Thursday,
September 1 and application will start from Monday, October 3 at each
Kindergartens.
■Certified Kodomo-en:
Toyokawa Higashi Yochi-en and Misono Kodomo-en are Kodomo-ens which
function as both kindergarten and nursery school.
Application guidelines and forms will be distributed from Thursday, September 1,
and application for category (1) will be accepted from October 3 to October 5 at
respective facilities. For category (2) (3), please see HP of respective facilities.
About detailed information of category classification, please ask respective
facilities or Nursery School Administration Division.
■Nursery school (Hoiku-en) / Small childcare establishment (Shokibo
Hoiku Jigyosho):
Nursery school is the facility that takes care of children whose guardian(s) is
(are) unable to take care of the children due to employment, childbirth, or other
reasons. Application forms will be distributed at respective facilities, Nursery
School Administration Division (Main Bldg. 1F), or Child Rearing Support Center
from Monday, September 12, and they can be downloaded from City HP.
Application will be accepted from September 30 to October 14 at respective
facilities. Please apply to your first choice of the facility directly. About acceptance
hours and implementation of nursery with extra staff etc., please see City HP or
contact Nursery Administration Division. Those who wish to see the facilities,
utilize small experiencing stay etc. at respective facilities. For information of small
experiencing stay and open school yard of respective facilities, please see the HP
of Child Rearing Support Center.

5.本年度の国民健康保険料をお知らせします
National Health Insurance premium for the fiscal year 2022
Insurance and Pension Division (Hoken Nenkin Ka)
The National Health Insurance premium for the fiscal year 2022 is fixed. Annual
insurance premium is divided in 8 terms and “Notification of National Health
Insurance for the fiscal year 2022” will be posted in the middle of August.
■Reduction system for the National Health Insurance premium
(Application is required.)
As of April 1 in 2022, household who meets any of the following cases can get
the reduction for National Health Insurance premium.
Eligibility: Household with total annual income (January ? December in 2021)
is below the regulated amount and,
1. A single parent household rearing a child/ children, aged 19 and younger.
2. A householder who has Physically Disabled Person’s Handbook (Shintai
Shogaisha Techo), Rehabilitation Handbook (Ryoiku Techo), Mental Disability
Certificate (Seishin Shogaisha Hoken Fukushi Techo).
Others: For further information such as application method, please contact
Insurance and Pension Division.
■Reduction system under the influence of COVID-19 (Application is
required.)
For the household with income decrease due to the influence caused by COVID-
19, there are cases of National Health Insurance premium reduction.
Eligibility:
1. Household whose principal breadwinner died or is in serious condition by
COVID-19 infection.
2. Household whose principal breadwinner is likely to have income decrease to
3. certain extent due to the influence caused by COVID-19.
Application: Applications must reach by Friday, March 31, 2023. Please mail
application form etc. to Insurance and Pension Division (〒442-8601 Suwa 1
Chome 1). Documents such as application form can be downloaded from City HP.
Others: For further information such as reduction rate and necessary documents,
please contact Insurance and Pension Division.
6.市遺児の育成をはかる手当を支払います
The municipal orphan allowance will be paid
Child Rearing Support Division (Kosodate Shien Ka)
August payment quota (For July and August) is paid on Monday, August 15 to
designated bank account. Since there will not be individual notifications, please
do self-confirmation with bank book etc.
