Confirmation documents for receiving Temporary Special Allowance for resident
tax exempted household are sequentially mailed to eligible households.
Application deadline is 3 months from the issuance date printed on the
confirmation document. Those who have not submitted the confirmation
document are requested to take procedures at the earliest convenience.

The reports of child abuse to child consultation centers are increasing year by
year and unfortunate incidents are continuously occurring. When you see a child
who might receive abusing, please do NOT hesitate to contact the following
offices.

Recyclable garbage collection site will be closed
Waste Management Division
On the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month, the city collects recyclable items at
the warehouse, eastern side of the city hall. It will be closed on Sunday,
May 22.

such as date & place.
Eligibility:
・Person born between April 1, 1983 and April 1, 2007 who has no chance of
medical check-up at school/work place.
・Insured person of the National Health Insurance or the late-stage medical care
system for the elderly who has a medical coupon.
・Person whose household is on welfare
・Person who requires only tuberculosis or lung cancer screening must be born
on April 1, 2007 and before in case of taking tuberculosis / lung cancer screening
only.
Items to examine:
Medical consultation, blood pressure, physical examination (Measuring height
and weight), urine and blood examination, tuberculosis examination and lung
cancer screening.
(Thoracic X-ray examination. Sputum examination (phlegm test) may be
conducted when necessary).
Fee for medical examination: Free of charge. However, in case of taking the
same examination in the fiscal year again, the person may be requested to pay
the whole expense.
Capacity: 60 persons (65 persons at Health Center, Mito Fukushi Hoken Center,
Kozakai Kifukan, Ikamaikan and Sakuragaoka Museum)
Application: From Friday, May 13, on City HP (First come, first served.).
Applications can be accepted at the venue on the checkup day.
9.自動車税の納付をお忘れなく
Automobile tax payment
Higashi-Mikawa Prefectural Tax Office (Higashi-Mikawa Ken-zei Jimusho)
The due date of car tax payment (Type based imposition) is Tuesday, May 31.
The notification of the tax payment will be sent on Monday, May 2 to persons who
own cars as of April 1. You can pay the tax with the notification at prefectural tax
office, financial institutions or convenience stores etc. You can also pay by using
PC and smartphone through Net Banking or credit card (With service charge), or
by smartphone payment application (PayPay, LINE Pay and PayB). If you do not
receive the notification with reasons such as moving etc., please contact
responsible prefectural tax office.
