Application for residence subsidy in Toyokawa (Machinaka Kyoju Hojokin)
Urban Development Division
Eligibility: Person who purchased a house on January 2, 2017 or later in the
designated area by Toyokawa city and had lived in other municipalities for more
than 5 consecutive years before moving in Toyokawa, or person who owned a
house in the foreseen disaster area in Toyokawa and had lived there until moving
out.
Content of the subsidy: ?Sum which is equivalent to that of property tax (For 3
year’s amount maximum. There are requirements for the space etc.) ?100,000
yen subsidy (Only once) for eligible household’s respective person of junior high
school age or younger
Application: By February 28 (Mon.) 2022 (Mails postmarked not later than this
date will be accepted.). Bring or mail application form to Urban Development
Division (North Bldg. 3F). Application form is available at the division (Can be
downloaded from city HP.).

School briefing session and open day for students who need special support,TOKUBETSU SHIEN GAKKO
School Education Division
A briefing session will be held for prospective students (thought to have
disabilities) who will enroll in the elementary/junior high/senior high school in
April 2022 and its guardians. Consultations are accepted at any time other than
the day of briefing session.

Eligibility: Junior high school students who have a difficulty of hearing and
speaking, and its guardians

7. ごみ運搬用軽トラックの無料貸出
Free rental of light truck for garbage transport
Waste Management Division
Toyokawa city lends light trucks, automatic transmission car, to persons who
transport household garbage and resources to the designated city facilities.
The rental is free of charge. For the application, call Waste Management Division.
Bring your driver’s license to the Waste Management Division (North Bldg. 2F)
when you use the truck. For the rental on weekends and national holidays, the
application is required in advance.
