Disaster Prevention Capacity Level-up Course “Disaster Prevention relies on
Mutual Aid.”
Toyokawa International Association
When: February 28 (Sun.) From 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Place: Toyokawa City Disaster Prevention Center (Toyokawa Bosai Center)
Content: A course in which people can learn how to protect lives and importance
of mutual aid in case of disaster occurrence
Eligibility: Those who are registered as Toyokawa Interpretation Volunteer for
Disaster, Toyokawa Disaster Prevention Volunteer Coordinator, and persons who
are interested in Volunteerism.
Capacity: 40 persons (First come, first served.)
Necessary items: Writing materials
Application: From February 8 (Mon.) by phone

Child Allowance, JIDO TEATE, will be paid
Child Rearing Support Division
Child Allowance, JIDO TEATE, will be paid to the designated bank account on
Friday, February 5. This time, four-month payment, from October to January, will
be paid through a bank account transfer. The payment is NOT notified individually.
Please check it with your bankbook etc.
3.市遺児の育成をはかる手当を支払います
The Municipal Orphan Allowance will be paid
Child Rearing Support Division
February payment quota (For January and February) is paid on Monday, February
15 to the designated bank account. The payment is NOT notified individually.
Please check it with your bank book etc.
4.市民小菜園の利用者を募集
Municipal Vegetable Garden for rent
Agricultural Affairs Division
Available period: April 1, 2021 ? March 31, 2022
Eligibility: The following conditions are required.
1) Persons who live in Toyokawa and do not work in agricultural field.
2) Persons who can manage the vegetable garden.
3) Persons who have no overdue payment of tax etc.
Application: Directly apply or call the Agricultural Affairs Division (North Building
2F) by Friday, February 12.
In the case of many applicants, the lottery will be conducted.
Others: For details such as the number of available vegetable gardens, please
contract Agricultural Affairs Division.

5.日本語能力試験の受験費を補助します
Subsidy for examination fee, Japanese Language Proficiency Test
International and Civic Activity Division
Toyokawa city provides subsidy for the examination fee to persons who took
Japanese Language Proficiency Test on Sunday, December 6, 2020.
Eligibility: Non-native speakers of Japanese. Students who live and belong to
elementary and junior high schools in Toyokawa and its family members, or
students of Kogitsune Kyoshitsu and its family members.
Amount of subsidy: 2,500 for each examinee
Application: Please come to International and Civic Activity Division (Shimin
Kyodo Kokusai Ka) in City Hall after receiving result notification letter and bring
following things.
Necessary things:(All the following things must be submitted.)
1) Result notification letter of JLPT
2) Resident card (Zairyu Card)
3) Bank book, to receive the subsidy into the bank account
4) INKAN
Others: The subsidy service ends when the budget is used up.
