Heavy rain may come because of the typhoon. There is a danger of landslides, especially if you live near a cliff, and flooding.
Yokosuka will open the following facilities as shelter from 7:00 a.m. on Friday, August 16
● Yokosuka Arena (1-2 Iriyamazucho)
(NO PETS)
●Community centers in Oppama, Taura, Nagaura, Hemi, Honcho, Yasuura, Miharu, Ikegami, Kinugasa,
Iwato, Otsu, Kurihama, Uraga, Kamoi, Kitashitaura, Takeyama, Nagai, Nishi (PETS OK IF IN CAGE)
Bring food, clothes, etc. with you.
You can also go to safety in places other than city shelters. You can shelter in a room of your house that is far away from a cliff or any other danger, or on the second floor or above, or go to the home of family member or friend, or stay in a hotel (in a safe area).
