Municipal Vegetable Garden etc. for rent
Agricultural Affairs Division (Nomu Ka)
Municipal Vegetable Gardens managed by Toyokawa city, and Shinozuka Farming
Gardens for Citizens managed by farmland owners are for rent. For details such
as application method etc., see City HP or contact Agricultural Affairs Division.
Available period: April 1, 2023 ? March 31, 2024
Application: Directly apply or call Agricultural Affairs Division (North Bldg. 2F) from February 1 to February 17. Application is accepted on City HP as well. In
case of many applicants, lottery is held.

5. 日本語能力試験の受験費を補助します
Subsidy for examination fee, Japanese Language Proficiency Test
International and Civic Affairs Division (Shimin Kyodo Kokusai Ka)
Toyokawa city provides subsidy for the examination fee to persons who passed
Japanese Language Proficiency Test on December 4 (Sun.), 2022.
Eligibility: Non-native speakers of Japanese. Students who live and belong to
elementary and junior high schools in Toyokawa and its family members, or
students of Kogitsune Kyoshitsu and its family members etc.
Amount of subsidy: 2,500 for person who passed the exam
Application: Please come to International and Civic Activity Division (Shimin
Kyodo Kokusai Ka) in City Hall after receiving result notification letter and bring
following things.
Necessary things:
All the following things must be submitted:
1) Result notification letter of JLPT
2) Residence Card (Zairyu Card)
3) Bank book, to receive the subsidy into the bank account
Others: The subsidy service ends when the budget is used up. From this fiscal
year, eligibility is limited to person who passed the exam.
6. 児童手当を支払います
Child Allowance, Jido Teate, will be paid
Child Rearing Support Division (Kosodate Shien Ka)
Child Allowance, Jido Teate, will be paid to the designated bank account on
February 7 (Tue.). This time, four-month payment, from October to January,
will be paid through a bank account transfer. The payment is NOT notified
individually. Please check it with your bankbook etc.
7. 市遺児の育成をはかる手当を支払います
The Municipal Orphan Allowance will be paid
Child Rearing Support Division (Kosodate Shien Ka)
February payment quota (For January and February) is paid on February 15
(Wed.) to the designated bank account. The payment is NOT notified
individually. Please check it with your bank book etc.
8. 麻しん・風しんワクチン(MR)第2期の定期予防接種はお済みですか
Have you taken 2nd term Periodic Vaccination against measles and
rubella (MR)?

Period: Until March 31 (Fri.), 2023
Eligibility: Child who was born between April 2, 2016, and April 1, 2017
without vaccination
Fee: Free of charge
Application: Call the commissioned medical institutions written on City HP.
In case of taking vaccination at medical institutions in other municipalities,
procedures at Toyokawa Health Center (Hoken Center) are necessary.
Please come directly to Health Center in advance with maternity passbook.
Others: Charge will occur after March 31, 2023. If you do not have medical
questionnaire sheet necessary for vaccination, contact Health Center.
9. 高額医療・高額介護合算療養費の支給申請について
High-Cost Long-Term Care Unitary Medical Care Benefit
Insurance and Pension Division (Hoken Nenkin Ka)
Elder Care and Nursing Division (Kaigo Korei Ka)
Application acceptance starts for High-Cost Long-Term Care Unitary Medical
Care Benefit. This benefit is to reimburse the excess annual cost of Medical
Insurance and Long-Term Care Insurance. This time, the payment is for the
period of August, 2021 to July, 2022. The notification is sent to the eligible
person (For persons insured by National Health Insurance, in the end of
February, and for persons insured by the Late-stage Medical Care System
for the Elderly, in the end of March.). There may be cases that notification
cannot be sent to the person who changed status of Medical Insurance,
number of household members etc. during the period. For persons who
join other medical insurance than National Health Insurance and the Late-
stage Medical Care System for the Elderly, please contact respective
medical insurance organization.
