Information of COVID-19
Vaccination against variant Omicron is implemented.
Vaccination against variant Omicron which is the major infectious cause
since 6th infectious wave is implemented. From the end of September,
vaccination against variant Omicron is conducted for persons eligible for 4th
vaccination. From the middle of October, up to the persons who have
completed 1st and 2nd vaccination can take vaccination against variant
Omicron.
Eligibility: Person aged 12 or older with Basic Resident Register of
Toyokawa city whose post vaccination period is 5 months or more since the
previous vaccination and meets any of the followings.
? Has completed 1st and 2nd vaccination and has not taken 3rd
vaccination.
? Has completed 3rd vaccination and has not taken 4th
vaccination.
? Has completed 4th vaccination.
Venue: About medical institutions for Individual Vaccination, comfirm City
HP or contact call center. Group Vaccination is implemented at Shimin Plaza
(Prio?4F).
Type of vaccine: Bivalent vaccine applied for conventional variant and
variant Omicron (Of Pfeizer and Moderna)
Expense: Free of charge
Others:Person who had taken the previous vaccination in another
municipality and moved in Toyokawa city needs to take procedures. Those
who wish to take vaccination are asked to contact directly Toyokawa City
Novel Corona Vaccine Call Center. In addition, eligible person who has
unused vaccination tickets at hand can use them for vaccination against
variant Omicron. If all the vaccination tickets at hand were used ones,
coupons will be mailed to the persons sequentially 5 months after the
previous vaccination.

Firefighting and disaster prevention drill
Firefighting Department West Division (Shobosho Nishi Bunzoku)
On Saturday, October 22 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, firefighting・disaster
prevention drill experience is held at Toyokawa City Bosai Center and other
places. Firefighting vehicles are exhibited and participants can experience fire
extinguishing, learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation method・AED handling, and
tour Toyokawa City Bosai Center. Those who want to participate are asked to
come directly to Bosai Center (Disaster Prevention Center) on the day.
