Nursery school entry reservation for after child-care leave (Secondary
recruitment)
Nursery School Administration Division
The guardians after child-care leave can make reservation for nursery school
(Hoiku-en) after September 2022.
Eligibility: Person who fits all the requirements below
1.) Child who was born from October 1, 2021 to April 1, 2022
2.) Guardian who wants their child to enter nursery school from September 2022
to March 2023
3.) Guardian will go back to the same company, fits the reasons for requiring
childcare
4.) Guardian has social insurance.
Number of acceptance: About 10 people
Application: From April 11 to April 22, application is accepted at Nursery School
Administration Division. In case of many applicants, there will be examination
over the content of guardian’s employment.

for relevant nursery schools etc.

Recruiting Volunteers in case of disaster occurrence
International and Civic Activity Division
The City of Toyokawa now recruits volunteers (Japanese and Foreigners) who can
support foreigners by interpretation and translation, in case of a huge disaster
occurrence. Registration is accepted at International and Civic Activity Division
(Shimin Kyodo Kokusai Ka).
Eligibility: The person who can speak Japanese and a foreign language, and are
over 18 years old. (Except Sr. High School Students)

Register for Toyokawa Anshin Mail
International and Civic Activity Division
Toyokawa Anshin Mail is the information about disaster, weather alerts, fires and
child-rearing sent by E-mail to your registered mail address. Registration charge
is free. Toyokawa Anshin Mail is usually written in five languages (English,
Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese) and sent to your mail address
once a month. When disaster occurrence, five languages information is being
sent. If you have not registered yet, please contact International and Civic
Activity Division (Shimin Kyodo Kokusai Ka).
8.病児・病後児保育を実施しています
Childcare is implemented for child during and after sickness
Nursery School Administration Division
When childcare cannot be done at home due to work etc. for child during sickness
or recovering from sickness, temporary nursery service (Childcare during and
after sickness) is implemented.
When: From Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Extended hour until 6:30
pm is possible except Tuesday, until 5:30 pm.) On Saturday, 9:00 am to 0:30 pm
Place: Kachi Byoin (Kachi Clinic, Ko Cho, Sakurada 15-1)
Eligibility: Child who meets 1) and 2)
1) Child between 4 months old and elementary 3rd grade age who lives in
2) Toyokawa
3) Child during sickness or recovering from sickness who is not suitable for group
4) childcare and childcare at home is difficult due to guardian’s work etc.
Expense: 1,000 yen within 4 hours. 2,000 yen over 4 hours. Additional 500 yen
is charged in every 30 minutes after 5:00 pm on weekdays.
Registration: Registration in advance is necessary. Before using the service,
please come directly to Nursery School Administration Division with maternity
passbook.
How to make a reservation: On the previous day of desired day between 9:30
am and 5:00 pm, call Kachi Byoin’s Daycare Room for Child during and after
sickness (Tel: ). Even in case of reservation on the day of visiting,
the service is still available if Daycare Room has enough capacity.
Others: Medical consultation is required on the service day. Acceptance may not
be possible depending on doctor’s diagnosis. Furthermore, if the child is eligible
for expense-free early childhood education and childcare, additional application
and certification are necessary.
