※Aside from Japanese, corresponding languages are English (Monday – Friday),
Chinese (Thursday), and Portuguese (Friday).
Among persons aged over 12 years who live in Toyokawa on Tuesday, October
12 currently, 77 % of them has finished taking 1st vaccination. According to
reports of various rersearch, there have been data proving vaccination’s
preventive effect to infection of COVID-19 as well as onset of the infectious
disease. To protect your life and life of beloved ones, please consider taking
vaccination. On the other hand, conventional preventive measures are still
necessary even after taking vaccination until vaccination covers large part of
the population and sufficient restraint of the number of the infected is
confirmed. Vaccination is not 100 % effective and there are possiblities of
lowering its effectiveness caused by variant virus. Therefore, those who have
completed vaccination are requested to do preventive measures continuously
such as avoiding 3 Cs (Closed spaces with poor ventilation, Crowded places
with many people nearby and Close-contact setting such as close-range
conversations), wearing mask, washing hands with soap and alcoholic
disinfection etc.

Coming of age ceremony
Lifelong Learning Division
When: Sunday, January 9.
Time: For those who come from Tobu, Chubu, Daida, Mito, and Kozakai Junior
High School Districts, the reception desk opens at 10:00 am, and the ceremony
starts at 10:30 am. / For those who come from Nanbu, Seibu, Kanaya
Ichinomiya, and Otowa Junior High School Districts, the reception desk opens at
11:15 am, and the ceremony starts at 11:45 am.
Ceremony venue: Toyokawa Gymnasium, SOGO TAIIKUKAN, Main Arena.
Eligibility: Invitation letters will be mailed to the persons who were born
between April 2, 2001 and April 1, 2002 and have basic resident registration in
Toyokawa as of October 1, 2021. Due to the reasons such as moving out of Toyokawa for work and school etc. or not having resident registration in spite of
living in Toyokawa, persons without the invitation letter are also welcomed to
attend the ceremony on the day.
Others: For preventing infectious spread of COVID-19, there is entrance
limitation with admittance only for persons who come of age. For cars, the
parking lot at Nippon Sharyo, closes at 1:00pm, and Prio Parking (Free for 1
hour) will be available. Since the parking space is limited, please share a ride as
much as possible. Using public transportation is recommended.
3. 児童扶養手当を支払います
Child Rearing Allowance、JIDO FUYO TEATE, will be paid
Child Rearing Support Division
Child rearing allowance, JIDO FUYO TEATE, will be transferred to the designated
bank account on Thursday, November 11. This time of the payment is for 2
months (September and October). The payment is NOT notified individually.
Please check it with your bankbook etc.
