※Aside from Japanese, corresponding languages are English (Every day),
Chinese (Thursday), and Portuguese (Friday).
Information of vaccination against COVID-19
Vaccination against COVID-19 starts for persons aged between 12 and 64
years. Coupons for vaccination are delivered to all persons aged between 16
and 64 years by the middle of July. There are 2 ways of vaccination. They are
“Individual Vaccination” at medical instututions, and “Group Vaccination” at
Shimin Plaza (Prio ? 4F). For persons aged between 12 and 15 years, coupons
are delivered in another batch. Reservations acceptance starts for persons with
underlying disease and persons working in senior citizen’s facilities etc. About
eligible underlying disease, please see HP of Ministry of Health, Labor and
Welfare, or confirm with your general practitioner (Family doctor), then write
the eligible disease on the medical questionnaire enclosed with the coupon. In
this case, medical certificate etc. is not necessary.For persons working in senior
citizen’s facilities etc., certifications issued by the belonging facilities are
necessary. Reservations for persons in general aged between 12 and 64 years
are planned to be accepted on the basis of age group in accordance with
vaccination process for senior citizens and persons with underlying disease. As
soon as the schedule is determined, the information is updated on city HP and
Toyokawa Newsletter August Edition etc.
1. Individual Vaccination
Starting date of reservation / vaccination: They are different
depending on medical institutions. Available medical institutions for
reservation can be checked on the website “Corona Vaccine Navigation” of
Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, or contact Novel Corona Vaccine Call
Center .
Place: Respective medical institutions
Reservation: Call respective medical institutions by phone. Some medical
institutions accept reservations on their HP as well.
2. Group Vaccination
Starting date of reservation: From Wednesday, July 14, 9:00 am
Starting date of vaccination: From Wednesday, August 4
Place: Shimin Plaza (Prio ? 4F)
Reservation: Call Novel Corona Vaccine Call Center .
Reservations are accepted on city HP as well.
Others: In case of making a reservation on city HP, vaccination ticket
number which is written on the coupon is necessary. The latest information
of vaccine is on city HP.

Toyokawa City Disaster Prevention Application is an official application which
distributes disaster prevention information of Toyokawa City. Information from
the city, broadcasting from outdoor speakers and fire information etc. can be
received by this application. Please make use of the application as “Portable
Disaster Prevention Measures”.
