“Toyokawa Genki Oenken” (Toyokawa Vitality Support Ticket) is distributed
Toyokawa Genki Oenken Call Center (September 18 ? November 13)
Commerce Industry and Tourism Division
For the purpose of supporting households under infectious influence caused by COVID-19, and vitalizing local consumption, “Toyokawa Genki Oenken” is
distributed which can be used as purchasing ticket at handling stores in Toyokawa city.
(About distribution)
Eligibility: Person who has residence registration in Toyokawa city as of September 1, 2020
How to distribute: It will be distributed to respective household around at the end
of September 2020 by postal mail.
Sum of ticket: 3,000 yen (Series of 3 thickets of 1,000 yen. 2 of them are for stores in general〈red ones〉, and 1 is common ticket which can also be used at large stores〈green one〉.)
(About usage)
Period: September 28 2020 – January 31 2021
Others: The ticket cannot be used for utility charges payment and purchasing
cash voucher. About the ticket handling stores, please see City HP or ask Commerce Industry and Tourism Division.

Toyokawa city will lower city planning tax rate from 0.3% to 0.2% only for the
one in fiscal year 2020 to support taxpayers in severe situations under the influence of COVID-19 caused by preventive measures.
Eligibility: Persons who are imposed with city planning tax (Who have land and
houses in residential area). Re-visional notification is mailed on Thursday, September 10 to eligible persons after changing tax rate. Please notice that the
procedure could be different depending on payment method etc.
Persons with One-time payment for entire term: Since reimbursement
occurs, reimbursement notification is sent with re-visional notification. Please send enclosed reimbursement notification in return envelope to Municipal Tax
Collection Division. For those who use account transfer system, reimbursement is paid at the beginning of October to the bank account written on re-visional
notification.
Persons with By-term payment:
Others: Concerning third and fourth term of property tax/city planning tax of
fiscal year 2020, please pay with the revised payment slip enclosed in re-visional notification. About the payment slip sent in May, please cut it up and throw away.
For those who use account transfer system, property tax/city planning tax of fiscal year 2020 for 3rd term is transferred with the sum of revised tax rate written
on re-visional notification (Payment: Monday, November 2, 2020), and for 4th term (Payment: Monday, February 1, 2021)

The population census is the most important statistical survey, covers everyone
who lives in Japan, and it is conducted every 5 years. The result of the population census will be the base data for various welfares in our life such as elders nursing
care, medical care, youth employment measure, child welfare, living environment, and disaster countermeasure etc. The collected data is strictly protected and
never used for other purposes.
How to survey: From the middle of September, the population census form is distributed by a population census worker to respective house. For this response,
please cooperate for submitting the answer form on web site by PC and smartphone, or by post. For those who wish collection by population census
worker, please notify the worker at the time of visiting.
Respond period:
1) Response by the website, from September 14 to October 7
2) Response by the answer form, from October 1 to October. 7
Others: A population census worker visits your house. The worker wears its certification and armband. Together with answer form distribution, the worker
asks you some simple questions. Please cooperate for conversation over the intercom etc., in order to prevent infectious spread.
