Dog registration and group vaccination for rabies
Environmental Division
A dog, aged 91 days-old and over, needs to be registered once in its lifetime and given rabies vaccination every year under the Japanese law.
If the schedule is not convenient for you, take your dog(s) to any veterinaries giving rabies vaccination.
Fee: 3,500 yen for rabies vaccination
3,000 yen is required for dog registration, only newly registered
Items to bring: Notification postcard and pet dog booklet
Others: A pet dog booklet is distributed for the newly registered person.
Fill-in the booklet the owner’s name and address, a species of the dog, its birthday, the color of its hair, sex and name.
A dog tag and vaccination certificate tag must be attached to the dog’s collar. Please finish your dog excretion before you come and chain your dog.

6. 特定健診・後期高齢者医療健診を送付
Medical coupons, special health examinations and health examinations for the elderly, will be delivered
Insurance and Pension Division
Medical coupons for the 2020 fiscal year will be delivered in the late April.
Persons, aged 40 or over and take out the national health insurance, can have special health checkups with the coupon.
Person with the late-stage medical care system for the elderly (the long-life medical care system for the elderly) can have Health Examinations with the coupon as well.
The coupons are available until Wednesday, February 10, 2021 .
On the day of the health examinations, persons do not join the national health insurance or the late-stage medical care system for the elderly, cannot have the examinations.

8.住宅用地球温暖化対策設備等補助事業
Subsidy of housing equipment expense for preventing global warming
Environment Division
Toyokawa City provides the subsidy of housing equipment expense for preventing global warming.
This subsidy supports the persons who use clean energy as one of the measures of global warming prevention.
For the application, directly submit the application form to the Environment Division before the equipment installed. (First-come first- served basis)
The application form is available at the Environment Division.
Subsidy will finish when running out of budget
9.国民年金保険料学生納付特例
National pension payment for student exemption as the special case
Insurance and Pension Division
From April, filing for national pension payment for student exemption will start to be accepted. This is the special exemption only for students.
Necessary Document for application: 1. Pension Booklet 2.Inkan (Hanko) 3. Student ID
4. Individual Number Card (Notification Card) to the Insurance and Pension Division or branch office of Prio service counter (5F Prio Bldg.).
For the person who was approved for this exemption last year, the post card for re-filing of the exemption will be sent by mail.
Fill in the required place and send it back to the Japan Pension Service.
10.病児・病後児保育を実施
Childcare for children in the sickness and convalescence stage
Nursery School Administration Division
Childcare facility for children who are in the sickness and the convalescence stage is available. The registration is required in advance.
Date & Time: 9:00 am ? 5:00 pm (Monday ? Friday)
Can be extended till 6:30 pm but, till 5:30 pm for Tuesdays. 9:00 am ? 12:30 pm on Saturdays.
Where: Kachi Hospital, Ko-cho Sakurada 15-1
Eligibility: Satisfy following condition
1) Children aged from 4 months old to the 3rd grade students of elementary school who live in Toyokawa city
2) Children who are in the sickness and the convalescence stage, hard to put the children in a nursery group or its guardian works.
Fee: 1,000 yen for less than 4 hours and 2,000 yen for more than 4 hours
After 5:00 pm 500yen/30 min.
Necessary document for application: 1. Inkan (Hanko) 2. Mother and Child Health Record Book to the Nursery School Administration
Reservation procedure: Make a phone call to nursing room, Kachi Hospital by the day before, from 9:30am to 5:00pm
Other: The child need examination on the day. Due to the result of examination, the child may not use childcare.
If the children are eligible of “pre-school education and day-care services free”, the charge for the nursing room will be free of charge upon submission of application form and authorization.
