2. 軽自動車税の減免申請
Exemption and reduction of kei car, light vehicle under 660CC, tax
Municipal Tax Division
Kei car tax is exempted or reduced in certain cases.
A person who start to receive exemption, or reduction, in 2019 fiscal year, go through the procedure by Friday May 31, 2019.
If you received the exemption or reduction in 2018 fiscal year, send back “The kei car tax report and the application form for kei car tax exemption or reduction.”
The eligible cases are as follows.
1) The kei car that a disabled person owns: admit only one car per person.
For a person, physically, mentally, or intellectually disabled, his/her car might be provided the exemption or reduction.
It depends on type or degree of the disability.
Except persons who receive the automobile tax exemption (or reduction) or taxi subsidy in 2019 fiscal year.
Application: Bring following things to the Municipal Tax Division.
Inkan, driver-license, vehicle inspection certificate, physical (or mental, intellectual) disability certificate, Individual Number Card (Notification Card) of taxpayer, etc.
2) The car remodeled to use for a physically disabled person:
Kei car which has an elevating device for wheelchair and so on is eligible.
Application: Bring inkan, vehicle inspection certificate, a photo to proof car registration number and how the car remodeled
3. 児童扶養手当を支払います
Child rearing allowance
Child Rearing Support Division
Child rearing allowance called JIDOFUYO TEATE in Japanese, subsidizing single parent families, will be paid to the designated bank account on Thursday, April 11.
This time, the payment of the allowance is for four months, from December 2018
to March 2019. The notice is not informed individually. Please check it with your bankbook.
4. 市営住宅入居者募集
Application for residents of municipal housing, SHIEIJUTAKU
Building Division
Date of move-in: Monday, July 1
Eligible applicants for the residents: Applicants who fulfill the following conditions.
1) Persons who work or live in Toyokawa.
2) Persons who live with family or are planning to live with family.
3) Persons who do not have the own house and are obviously facing a housing problem.
4) The annual income must meet standard prescribed by municipal ordinance.
5) Persons have no overdue taxes, including installment payment of tax.
6) Persons who do not belong to crime syndicate, BORYOKUDAN.
7) 3DK housings are available for the residents who have more than 2 family members (Some of them are available for a person living alone).
8) For 4DK housing, the residents have to be more than 4 family members.
9) “Special” means a household which is aged household, household with a disabled person, single parent household, child-rearing household and so on.
Application Period: By Friday, April 12
Fill in the application form and directly submit it to the Building Division. You can get the application form at the Building Division or download from Toyokawa City website.
The lottery will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, April 18 at the HON-34 meeting room of the city hall.
Other: At the time of the contract, 2 guarantors and 3-month deposit are required.
5. 犬の登録と狂犬病予防集合注射を実施
Dog registration and group vaccination for rabies
Environmental Division
A dog, aged 91 days old and over, needs to be registered once in its lifetime and given rabies vaccination every year under the Japanese law.
If the schedule is not convenient for you, take your dog(s) to any veterinaries giving rabies vaccination.
Fee: 3,400 yen for rabies vaccination
3,000 yen is required for dog registration, only newly registered
Items to bring: Notification postcard and pet dog booklet
Others: A pet dog booklet is distributed for the newly registered person.
Fill-in the booklet the owner’s name and address, a species of the dog, its birthday, the color of its hair, sex and name1.
A dog tag and vaccination certificate tag must be attached to the dog’s collar. Please finish your dog excretion before you come and chain your dog when you come.
