Collect recyclable garbage
Waste Management Division
Recyclable garbage is collected at the storehouse, eastern side of Toyokawa city hall.
When: The second and fourth Sunday of every month, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Collecting Items: Recyclable garbage such as paper, metal, cans, bottles, plastic bottles, polystyrene packaging plates, secondhand clothing and used vegetable cooking oil.
Hazardous garbage, such as spray cans, lighters, fluorescent tubes, mercury thermometer and batteries are also collectable.
7. 障害者のタクシー利用料を助成
Taxi coupons for disabilities
Social Welfare Division
Taxi coupons are provided to disabled persons.
Eligibility: ① The person who is physically disabled, bring the identification booklet for disabled, SHOGAISHA TECHO of1・2 grade or eye-sight, legs and the soma SHOGAISHA TECHO 3 grade
② The person who needs care and education booklet RYOIKU TECHO of A・B grade
③ The person who is mentally disabled booklet of 1・2 grade and INKAN to the Social Welfare Division.
8. ごみ運搬用軽トラックの無料貸出
Free rental of light truck for garbage transport
Waste Management Division
Toyokawa city lends light trucks of automatic transmission car to the person who transport household garbage to the designated city facilities.
The rental is free of charge.
For the application, call Waste Management Division. Bring your driver license to the Division when you use the truck.
For the rental on weekends and national holidays, the application is required in advance.
9.国民年金保険料学生納付特例
National pension payment for student exemption as the special case
Insurance and Pension Division
From April, filing for national pension payment for student exemption will start to be accepted. This is the special exemption only for students.
For the filing, bring your pension booklet, INKAN, student ID to the Insurance and Pension Division or branch office of Prio service counter (5F Prio Bldg.).
For the person who was approved for this exemption last year, the post card for re-filing of the exemption will be sent by mail.
Fill in the required place and send it back to the Japan Pension Service.
10. 病児・病後児保育を実施
Childcare for children in the sickness and convalescence stage
Nursery School Administration Division
Childcare facility for children who are in the sickness and the convalescence stage is available. The registration is required in advance.
Date & Time: 9:00 am ? 5:00 pm (Monday ? Friday)
Can be extended till 6:30 pm but, till 5:30 pm for Tuesday. 9:00 am ? 12:30 pm on Saturday.
Where: Kachi Hospital, Ko-cho Sakurada 15-1
Eligibility: Children aged from 4 months old to the third year of elementary school students
Fee: yen1,000 for less than 4 hours and yen2,000 for more than 4 hours
After 5:00 pm on weekdays Yen500.-/30 min.
Application: Bring your INKAN and mother and child health record book to the Nursery School Administration
