“There are a lot of fires in the city!” 「市内で火災が多発しています!」
This is an announcement from Toyokawa City Fire Department.
There have been many fires in the city.
As of January 29th, there have been seven fires this year, with more than half, four being structure fires in which houses or other structures burn.
Structure fires can take away precious memories, property, and lives in an instant.
Fires are caused by a variety of factors, including sparks from burning garbage and careless cigarettes, but many fires could have been prevented by paying attention to how fire is handled.
Once again, please be sure to take basic fire prevention measures such as “stay away from fire” and “keep flammable items away from open flames,” and be careful when handling fire.

市内では、火災が多発しています。
今年に入り、1月29日現在までに7件の火災が発生しており、半数以上の4件が家屋等の燃える建物火災です。
建物火災は、一瞬にして大切な思い出や財産、生命を奪ってしまいます。
火災の原因は、ゴミ等の焼却による飛び火、たばこの不始末など様々ですが、火気の取扱いに注意を払うことで、防ぐことができた火災が多くあります。
今一度、「火の元から離れない」、「燃えやすいものは火の気から遠ざける」など、基本的な防火対策を徹底し、火の取扱いには十分注意しましょう。
