Citizen’s Activity for Town Security in Summer

From July 11 to August 10, an activity is held which is called “Citizen’s Activity
for Town Security in Summer”. During the period, reinforced patrol, PR activity in
town etc. are carried out in coordination of relevant organizations. Compared to
last year, number of traffic accidents and crime occurrence is increasing. On this
occasion, let us think of traffic safety and crime prevention again.
2. 定額減税補足給付金
Fixed-Sum Tax Reduction Supplementary Benefit

As part of financial support for rising price of things, fixed-sum tax reduction is
implemented. For person who may not be able to get tax reduction any further,
benefit is paid.
Eligibility: Taxpayer whose possible fixed-sum tax reduction sum which is
calculated based on the number of taxpayer, its spouse or dependent eligible for
deduction surpasses the person’s estimated income tax of the fiscal year 2024 or
resident tax income rate of the fiscal year 2024, and total sum of the income is
18,050,000 yen or less
Sum of the payment: The sum of income tax and resident tax income rate
which cannot be reduced any further are calculated and combined, and rounded
up to 10,000-yen unit
Application: By October 31 (Thu.) (Postmark on this date is valid.). End of July
onward, Payment Confirmation Form for Fixed-Sum Tax Reduction
Supplementary Benefit is planned to be sent. Fill in the necessary items, attach
a copy of ID document etc. and send it back in enclosed return envelope.

3.住民税非課税世帯等支援給付金
Support Benefit for Resident Tax Exempted Household etc.

As support for reducing financial burden caused by rising prices of things,
benefit is paid.
Eligibility: Household with Basic Resident Register of Toyokawa city as of June
3, 2024 whose resident tax income rate of the fiscal year 2024 was newly
exempted. However, household meeting any of the followings is not eligible:
Household who was eligible for Support Benefit for Resident Tax Exempted
Household (70,000 yen) for the fiscal year 2023
Household who was eligible for Support Benefit for Household taxed with
resident tax per capita rate only (100,000 yen) for the fiscal year 2023
Sum of the payment: 100,000 yen per household
Application: By October 31 (Thu.) (Postmark on this date is valid.). Fill in the
necessary items on the document which is planned to be sent in the middle of
July and send it back in enclosed return envelope.

service from July 1 (Mon.), or confirm city website.
4.市営住宅入居者募集
Application for Municipal Housing, Shiei Jutaku

Expected day of move-in: October 1 (Tue.)
Eligible applicants: Persons who fulfill the following conditions.
1) Persons who work or live in Toyokawa.
2) Persons who live or are planning to live together with its family in Toyokawa.
3) Persons who are obviously facing financial difficulties to search for a house.
4) Persons who meet the income requirement.
5) Persons who do not belong to any crime syndicates, so-called Boryokudan.
6) For 3DK housing, the residents have to be a family of 2 persons or more (Also
available for single person in some cases.)
7) For 4DK housing, the residents have to be a family of 4 persons or more.
Application: From July 1 to July 16, bring application form to the Building
Division directly (North Bldg. 4F). Application form is available at the Building
Division (It can be downloaded from city website, too).
Lottery: July 22 (Mon.), from 10:00 am at No.34 meeting room (Main Bldg. 3F).
Others: 1 guarantor and the deposit of 3-month rent are required at the time of
contract.
