1. 5月25日(土)・26日(日)おいでん祭を開催
Toyokawa Citizen Festival “Oidensai” is held
The 33rd Toyokawa Citizen Festival “Oidensai” is held on May 25 (Sat.) and 26
(Sun.) in the area around Kawashin Victory Stadium (Toyokawa Park Baseball
Stadium). There are plenty of events such as eating corner with food trucks,
working vehicles etc. which can be enjoyed by children and adults. In addition,
Kawashin Victory Stadium as major venue, Yosakoi dance teams and other dance
teams perform their dancing. For the latest information, confirm the website of
Toyokawa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Toyokawa Shoko Kaigisho).
2.子育て世帯加算給付金(1人5万円)給付
Payment of Additional Benefit for Child Rearing Household (50,000 yen
per person)

Additional benefit is paid for child rearing household under the influence of rising
prices of things.
Eligible Household: Household which meets either of the followings
Household eligible for Support Benefit for Household Exempted with Resident
Tax (70,000 yen) Household eligible for Support Benefit for Household
imposed with Resident Tax (only with per capita rate) (100,000 yen)
Eligible Child: Child aged 18 or younger belonging to the same household as of
December 1, 2023 (Child born on April 2, 2005 and after). However, some
households are exceptionally eligible by application in case of child born on
December 2, 2023 and after, or child living separately but sharing the same
livelihood etc.
Sum of the payment: 50,000 yen per eligible child
Application: By September 13 (Fri.) (Postmark on this date is valid.). Write
necessary items in payment requirement confirmation form regarding Additional
Benefit for Child Rearing Household which is scheduled to be sent the middle of
April onward, and send it back in enclosed envelope. There is examination after
application.

3.個人住民税の定額減税
Fixed-sum tax reduction of individual resident tax

Due to tax system revision in the fiscal year 2024, fixed-sum tax reduction is
implemented regarding individual resident tax of the fiscal year 2024. It is not
necessary to take procedures.
Eligibility: Taxpayer whose total income is 18,050,000 yen or less
Sum of the reduction: 10,000 yen per person (Taxpayer in person, its spouse
eligible for deduction, or dependent)
Others: In case that the sum of tax reduction surpasses income rate of individual
resident tax, the sum of income rate is the ceiling amount.
※ Fixed-sum tax reduction of income tax: Fixed-sum tax reduction of income tax
is also implemented with 30,000 yen deduction per eligible person. For details
such as eligible person, confirm the special website of National Tax Agency
regarding fixed-sum tax reduction.
4.豊川市まちなか居住補助金
Residence subsidy in Toyokawa (Machinaka Kyoju Hojokin)

Eligibility: Person who purchased a house on in the area designated by
Toyokawa city and had lived in other municipalities for 5 consecutive years or
more before moving in Toyokawa, or person who owned a house in the foreseen
disaster area in Toyokawa and lived there before moving out of the house
Content of the subsidy: Sum which is equivalent to that of real estate tax
(For 3 years after purchasing the eligible house) 100,000 yen subsidy (Only
once) for eligible household’s respective person of junior high school age or
younger
Application: By February 28 (Fri.), 2025 (Postmark on this date is valid.). Bring
application form directly or by postal mail to Urban Development Division (North
Bldg. 3F). Application form is available at the division (It can be downloaded from
city website.).
