year (December 29-January 3).)
Vaccination period: Until March 31 (Sun.), 2024
Venue: At medical institutions in Toyokawa city
Eligibility: Person aged 6 months or older who has completed 1st/2nd
vaccination
Eligible vaccination tickets: Vaccination tickets (cream color) (In case
that the person has unused vaccination tickets at hand, please use them. In
this case, vaccination tickets will not be mailed.)
※ First vaccination is also implemented for person who has never taken. In
case of wishing to take vaccination, contact Toyokawa City Novel Corona
Vaccine Call Center.
6.小学校就学通知書・入学説明会
School Attendance Notification and Enrollment Seminar for new
Elementary School Students
School Education Division (Gakko Kyoiku Ka)
■School Attendance Notification (Syugaku Tsuchi Sho):
The notification will be mailed to the guardians of a new student in January who
will enroll in elementary school in April 2024. Fill in the notification and submit
it directly to the school which your child will go to by February 22 (Thu.), 2024.
In case of changing the elementary school due to moving etc., please inform
the School Education Division about it in advance. The Division will
issue a new notification, therefore when you complete the transaction of
changing address, please visit Child Rearing Support Division (Main Bldg. 1F) or
the School Education Division (Otowa Branch Office 3F).
■Enrollment seminar for new students (Nyugaku Setsumei Kai):
The enrollment seminar is held at each elementary school on February 1 (Thu.),
2024 in the morning. For the content, information letter will be mailed to you
by the end of January.
7.産前産後期間の国民健康保険料が減額されます
National Health Insurance premium is reduced for the period before and
after childbirth
Insurance and Pension Division (Hoken Nenkin Ka)
For person joining National Health Insurance, its insurance premium (Income rate
and per capita rate) is reduced for the period before and after childbirth. For
details such as eligible period etc., please contact Insurance and Pension Division.
8.運転免許更新が予約制となります
Reservation is necessary for driver’s license renewal
Higashi Mikawa Driver’s License Center (Higashi Mikawa Unten Menkyo Center)
From March 19 (Tue.) onward, reservation is necessary for renewal procedures
at places such as Higashi Mikawa Driver’s License Center. Please make a
reservation with notification of driver’s license renewal (Renewal postcard “Koshin
Hagaki”) at hand.
Eligibility: Person whose lecture category is Excellent driver (Yuryo) / Driver in
general (Ippan) / Driver with traffic violation record (Ihan) / First timer (Shokai)
Application: From January 15 (Mon.), 9:00 am, make a reservation on HP of
Aichi Prefectural Police or by phone (Tel: ). Just before the end of
renewal period, we may not be able to meet your request regarding the date,
hour, venue etc. Making a reservation at your earliest convenience is
recommended.
Others: For details such as things to keep in mind when making a reservation,
contact Higashi Mikawa Driver’s License Center.
9.原動機付自転車や軽自動車などをお持ちの方へ
To person who owns a moped (Gentsuki) or a light vehicle (Kei Car)
Municipal Tax Division (Shiminzei Ka)
Light vehicle tax (Type-based Imposition) is imposed on person who owns a
moped or a light vehicle in Toyokawa city as of April 1. Even though you no longer
own a vehicle physically due to ownership transfer or disaster etc., light vehicle
tax will be imposed if necessary procedures are not taken for ownership transfer
or vehicle scrapping. You must officially report any changes of ownership by the
end of March. Since the counter is very crowded in March, we recommend that
you report it at your earliest convenience.
Note: Registration offices differ depending on the type of vehicles.
