Information of booster vaccination for COVID-19
Toyokawa City Novel Corona Vaccine Call Center

Hour: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Only on weekdays. Except end and beginning of the
year (December 29-January 3).)
Vaccination period: Until March 31 (Sun.) 2024
Venue: At medical institutions in Toyokawa city (From December, only
Individual Vaccination is principally implemented.)
Eligibility: Person aged 6 months or older who has completed 1st/2nd
vaccination
Eligible vaccination tickets: Vaccination tickets (cream color) which are
mailed sequentially 3 months after the previous vaccination (In case that
the person has unused vaccination tickets at hand, please use them. In this
case, vaccination tickets will not be mailed.)
※ First vaccination is also implemented for person who has never taken. In
case of wishing to take vaccination, contact Toyokawa City Novel Corona
Vaccine Call Center.
2.子ぎつね教室親子プレスクール
Kogitsune Kyoshitsu Parent-child Preschool
Toyokawa city Kogitsune Kyoshitsu is a Japanese class for child with its roots in
other countries who has insufficient Japanese knowledge. Kogitsune Kyoshitsu
holds parent-child preschool for child becoming elementary school 1st grader from
April, 2024 and its guardian. It is a class in which child without any Japanese
knowledge will learn in parent-child unit and prepare for enrollment in elementary
school.
Period: Every Tuesday or Thursday from January 16 (Tue.) to April 4 (Thu.) *Closed on public holidays
Hour: From 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Place: Kogitsune Kyoshitsu (Toyokawa Shi, Suwa 3 Chome 300 Banchi, Prio Bldg.
5F)
Eligibility: Preschool child with its roots in other countries who is to enroll in
elementary school within 6 months and its guardian living in Toyokawa
Capacity: 10 couples for respective terms (First come, first served.)
Where to apply: Toyokawa City Hall North Bldg. 2F, International and Civic
Activity Division (Tel: )
※Bring child’s Residence Card (Zairyu Card).
Fee: Free of charge (940 yen is necessary for insurance.)
Others: Guardian’s company is required. Guardian is asked to do drop-off and
pick-up.

School Education Division (Gakko Kyoiku Ka)
Toyokawa City supports households facing financial difficulties to raise
Elementary School/ Junior High School students with expenses of school lunch
etc.
Types of Support: Expenses for school lunch, school supplies, necessary items
for commuting to school, school trip and so on.
Eligibility: Household whose income is within the standard determined by the
Board of Education.
Application: New applicant should bring applicant’s bankbook to School
Education Division (Otowa Branch Office 3F). Household who has been
continuing to receive this support should reapply to the school which their
children go to.
Others: For person who moved in Toyokawa this year, the income certificate
(Shotoku Shomei Sho) issued by the city hall of previous residence is required
(Including the income certificate of all the residents who are 20 years of age
and older in the same household.).
4.市遺児の育成をはかる手当を支払います
Allowance for bringing up orphans is paid
Child Rearing Support Division (Kosodate Shien Ka)
The allowance for bringing up orphans will be paid to the designated bank
account on December 15 (Fri.). Two months’ allowance, from November to
December, will be paid. The payment of allowance will not be notified
individually. Please check it with your bankbook etc.
