Guidance for Nursery Schools and Kindergartens admission from April,
2024 school year
Nursery School Administration Division (Hoiku Ka)
■Kindergartens (Yochi-en):
Kindergartens provide various educational programs depending on the child’s
development. Application guidelines and forms will be distributed from
September 1 (Fri.) and application acceptance will start from October 2 (Mon.)
at each Kindergartens.
■Certified Kodomo-en:
Toyokawa Higashi Yochi-en and Misono Kodomo-en are Kodomo-ens which
function as both kindergarten and nursery school.
Application guidelines and forms will be distributed from September 1 (Fri.), and
application for category (1) will be accepted from October 2 to October 4 at
respective facilities. For category (2) (3), please see HP of respective facilities.
About detailed information of category classification, please ask respective
facilities or Nursery School Administration Division.
■Nursery school (Hoiku-en) / Small childcare establishment (Shokibo
Hoiku Jigyosho) / Childcare establishment in the company (Jigyoshonai
Hoiku Jigyosho):
Nursery school is the facility that takes care of children whose guardian(s) is
(are) unable to take care of the children due to employment, childbirth, or other
reasons. Application forms will be distributed at respective facilities, Nursery
School Administration Division (Main Bldg. 1F), or Child Rearing Support Center
from September 15 (Fri.), and they can be downloaded from City HP, too.
Applications will be accepted from September 29 to October 13 at respective
facilities. Please apply to your first choice of the facility directly. About acceptance
hours and implementation of nursery with extra staff etc., please see City HP or
contact Nursery Administration Division. Those who wish to see the facilities,
utilize small experiencing stay etc. at respective facilities. For information of small
experiencing stay and open school yard of respective facilities, please see the HP
of Child Rearing Support Center (Kosodate Shien Center).

4.本年度の国民健康保険料をお知らせします
National Health Insurance premium for the fiscal year 2023
Insurance and Pension Division (Hoken Nenkin Ka)
The National Health Insurance premium for the fiscal year 2023 is fixed. Annual
insurance premium is divided in 8 terms from August to March and “Notification
of National Health Insurance for the fiscal year 2023” will be posted in the middle
of August.
■Reduction system for the National Health Insurance premium
(Application is required.)
As of April 1 in 2023, household who meets any of the following cases can get
the reduction for National Health Insurance premium.
Eligibility: Household whose total annual income (January ? December in 2022)
is the regulated amount or lower and,
1. A single parent household rearing a child/ children, aged 19 or younger.
2. A householder who has Physically Disabled Person’s Handbook (Shintai
Shogaisha Techo), Rehabilitation Handbook (Ryoiku Techo), or Mental Disability
Certificate (Seishin Shogaisha Hoken Fukushi Techo).
Application: For household 1, bring Notification of National Health Insurance for
the fiscal year 2023 and Medical Recipient Certificate for Single Parent Family,
and for household 2, bring Notification of National Health Insurance for the fiscal
year 2023 and disability certificate to Insurance and Pension Division (Main Bldg.
1F) directly.
