About booster vaccination
Vaccination period・Venue: Individual Vaccination: From May 8 to
August 31 at medical institutions in Toyokawa city / Group Vaccination:
From May 13 to August 31 at Shimin Plaza (Prio? 4F), Health Center
(Hoken Center)
Eligibility: Any of the following persons who have completed 1st/2nd
vaccination ?Person aged 65 or older ?Person aged 5-64 with underlying
disease ?Medical personnel or personnel of sinior citizen’s facilities etc.
Eligible vaccination tickets: Vaccination tickets (cream color) which were
sent to the eligible persons in the end of April (Vaccination tickets (white
color) are not eligible.)
Others: For person in general (aged 12-64), booster vaccination is not
available from May 8 to August 31. It is available until August 31 (Thu.)
only for the person aged 5-11 without underlying disease who has not
taken vaccine for variant Omicron yet. Things such as vaccination schedule
on later days will be updated on City HP and Toyokawa Newsletter as soon
as determined.
2.「おいでん祭」が5月27日(土)・28日(日)に開催されます
Toyokawa Cityzen Festival, “Oidensai”
The 32nd Toyokawa Citizen Festival “Oidensai” is held on May 27 (Sat.) and 28
(Sun.) in the area around the baseball stadium. There are plenty of events such
as eating corner with food trucks and stage performance by power rangers which
can be enjoyed by children and adults. In addition, in the baseball stadium as
major venue, there will be “Dance Festival 2023” where dance teams such as
Yosakoi dance team perform their dancing, and musical performance by Japan
Self Defense Ground Force Military Band. For the latest information, confirm HP
of Toyokawa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Toyokawa Shoko Kaigisho).

Crisis Management Division (Kiki Kanri Ka)
In order to reduce damage caused by furniture falls and window glass shatter in
the occurrence of an earthquake, the city offers installation service of furniture
fixing equipment and application of window glass shatterproof film.
Eligibility: Those who live in Toyokawa
Expense: Free (However, the cost of equipment necessary for fixing furniture,
and film is borne by the individual)
Application: From May 10 to June 30 (Postmark on this date is valid.). Bring
application form directly or send it by postal mail to the Crisis Management
Division (〒442-8601 Toyokawa Shi, Suwa 1 Chome 1). The application form is
available in the Crisis Management Division (Toyokawa City Bosai Center 2nd
floor) and at respective branch office (only once a year per household)
Others: The number of applications is limited. In addition, the number of
furniture to be fixed is 3, and the window glass (excluding multilayered glass) to
be filmed is up to 4 square meters per household, and the consent of the owner
is required for those who live in a rented house such as an apartment.
