4.自転車乗車用ヘルメット購入費の補助
Expense for bicycle riding helmet is subsidized
Human Rights and Community Safety Division (Jinken Seikatsu Anzen Ka) 0533-

To reduce the damage caused by traffic accident while riding a bicycle, expense
for bicycle riding helmet is subsidized for children, students, and elderly.
Eligibility: Persons who live in Toyokawa aged between 7 years and 18 years or
65 years and older at the point of March 31, 2024
Eligible helmet: Helmet made for bicycle riding with safety certification of SG
sticker etc. which was purchased on April 1, 2023 and after
Sum of subsidy: 50 % of purchase (2,000 yen as ceiling amount)(1 helmet per
person)
Application: Please bring directly or send by postal mail a copy of receipt with
product’s name of purchased helmet and application form etc. to Human Rights
and Community Safety Division (North Bldg. 2F). Application form is available at
the Division (Can be downloaded from City HP.).

5.特定健診・後期高齢者医療健診受診券を送付
Medical coupons for special health examinations and health
examinations of the Late-stage Medical Care System for the Elderly, will
be delivered
Insurance and Pension Division (Hoken Nenkin Ka)
Medical coupons for 2023 fiscal year will be delivered in the late April. Persons,
aged 40 or older who are insured by National Health Insurance, can have special
health examinations with the coupons. Eligible persons for the Late-stage Medical
Care System for the Elderly can have health examinations as well. The coupons
are valid until February 10 (Sat.), 2024. On the day of the health examinations,
persons who are not joining National Health Insurance or without certification of
the Late-stage Medical Care System for the Elderly, cannot have the health
examinations. For details such as how to take health examinations etc., please
read the enclosed guide.

6.国民年金保険料学生納付特例
National pension premium payment for student exemption as the special
case
Insurance and Pension Division (Hoken Nenkin Ka)
From April 3 (Mon.), filing for national pension premium payment for student
exemption in 2023 fiscal year will start to be accepted. For the filing, bring things
indicating your basic pension number (e.g., pension booklet), or things indicating
My Number, and student ID within validity period to Insurance and Pension
Division (Main Bldg. 1F), respective branch offices, or Prio Service Center (Only
for receiving). For the person who was approved for this exemption last fiscal
year, post card for re-filing will be mailed from Japan Pension Service.
