Application for Municipal Housing, Shiei Jutaku
Building Division (Kenchiku Ka)
Expected day of move-in: Saturday, July 1, 2023
Eligible applicants: Persons who fulfill the following conditions.
1) Persons who work or live in Toyokawa.
2) Persons who live or are planning to live together with its family in Toyokawa.
3) Persons who are obviously facing financial difficulties to search for a house.
4) Persons who meet the income requirement.
5) Persons who do not belong to any crime syndicates, so-called Boryokudan.
6) For 3DK housing, the residents have to be a family of 2 persons or more (Also
available for single person in some cases.)
7) For 4DK housing, the residents have to be a family of 4 persons or more.
8) For Welfare Quota, aged household, household with a disabled person, single
parent household, child-rearing household and so on.
Application: April 3 to April 17, 2023
Bring the designated application to the Building Division directly (North Bldg. 4F).
The application form is available at the Building Division (Can be downloaded
from City HP.).
Lottery: Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 10:00 am at No.34 meeting room (Main
Bldg. 3F).
Others: 1 guarantor and the deposit of 3-month rent are required at the time of
contract.

Exemption and reduction of Light Vehicle Tax (“Kei” car , 660CC or less,
Type-based imposition)
Municipal Tax Division (Shiminzei Ka)
Light Vehicle Tax (Type-based imposition) is exempted or reduced in certain cases.
Person who newly receives exemption, or reduction, please come to Municipal
Tax Division for application by May 31 (Wed.). If you received exemption or
reduction in 2022 fiscal year, send back the document issued for “Kei car tax
report and application form for Kei car tax exemption or reduction” (Genkyo
Houkoku Sho and Genmen Shinsei Sho) which was mailed at the end of March.
The eligible cases are as follows.
■The Kei car that a disabled person owns: (Admitted only one car per
person.) For a person, physically, intellectually, or mentally disabled. Some cases
may not meet the eligibility depending on type or degree of the disability. Persons
who receive exemption or reduction of automobile tax (Type-based imposition,
standard-sized car) or welfare taxi subsidy (Except welfare taxi subsidy for
severely disabled person) in 2023 fiscal year are excluded.
Necessary documents: Bring following things to the Municipal Tax Division.
? Vehicle inspection certificate (Shaken Shou) ?Driver’s license ?Physically
? Disabled Person’s Handbook (Shintai Shougaisha Techo), Rehabilitation
? Handbook (Ryouiku Techo), or Mental Disability Certificate (Seishin
? Shougaisha Hoken Fukushi Techo) ? Certification of the Same Livelihood
? (Seikei Douitsu Shoumei Sho) (In case that the household of the driver or the
? owner (Tax debtor) and that of the disabled person etc. are different.)
■The car remodeled to use for a physically disabled person:
Kei car which has an elevating device for wheelchair and so on
Necessary documents: ?Vehicle inspection certificate (Shaken Shou) ?A
photo to prove car registration number and how the car was remodeled

The Municipal Orphan Allowance will be paid
Child Rearing Support Division (Kosodate Shdien Ka)
April payment quota (For March and April) is paid on April 14 (Fri.) to the
designated bank account. The payment is NOT notified individually. Please
check it with your bank book etc.
