Application for Temporary Special Benefit for child rearing household
Child Rearing Support Division (Kosodate Shien Ka)
Temporary special benefit is paid to support child rearing household with
prolonged infection of COVID-19.
Eligibility: Household meeting any of the followings: ?With Basic Resident
Register of Toyokawa city and eligible for Child Allowance (Jido Teate) for
September 2022 ?Eligible for Jido Teate for the child born between September
1, 2022 and March 31, 2023 ?Was not eligible for Jido Teate for September
2022 but became eligible for Jido Teate for February 2023 due to divorce etc.
Sum of the payment: 20,000 yen per eligible child

4. 小学校就学通知書・入学説明会
School Attendance Notification and Enrollment Seminar for new
Elementary School Students
School Education Division (Gakko Kyoiku Ka)
School Attendance Notification (Syugaku Tsuchi Sho):
The Notification will be mailed to the guardians of a new student in January who
will enroll in the elementary school in April of 2023.
Fill in the notification and submit it directly to the school which your child will go
to by February 24 (Fri.), 2023. In the case of changing the elementary school
due to moving etc., please inform the School Education Division about it in
advance. The Division will issue a new notification, therefore when you complete
the transaction of changing address, please visit Child Rearing Support Division
(Main Bldg.1F) or the School Education Division (Otowa Branch Office 3F).
Enrollment seminar for new students (Nyugaku Setsumei Kai):
The enrollment seminar is held at each elementary school on February 2 (Thu.),
2023 in the morning. The detail will be mailed to you by the end of January.
5. 児童扶養手当を支払います
Child Rearing Allowance、Jido Fuyo Teate will be paid
Child Rearing Support Division (Kosodate Shien Ka)
Child Rearing Allowance, Jido Fuyo Teate will be transferred to the designated
bank account on January 11 (Wed.), 2023. The payment of this time is for 2
months (November and December). The payment is NOT announced individually.
Please check it with your bankbook etc.
6. 原動機付自転車や軽自動車などの名義変更や廃車手続きはお早めに
Take procedures for ownership transfer or scrapping of moped
(Gentsuki) and light vehicle (Kei Car) at your earliest convenience
Municipal Tax Division (Shiminzei Ka)
Light vehicle tax (Type-based Imposition) is imposed on persons who own a
moped or a light vehicle, Kei car in Toyokawa city as of April 1.
Even though you no longer own a vehicle physically due to ownership transfer
etc., light vehicle tax will be imposed if necessary procedures are not taken for
ownership transfer or vehicle scrapping. You must officially report any changes
of ownership by the end of March. March is the highest season for filing taxes, so
we recommend that you report it at your earliest convenience.
Note: Registration offices differ depending on the type of vehicles.
