Information of COVID-19
About mailing coupons etc.
Concerning eligible persons for vaccination for variant Omicron, mailing
coupons etc. is scheduled as below. Vaccination for variant Omicron is
conducted once per person. Coupons are not mailed to those who have
finished taking vaccination.
Eligibility: Person aged 12 or older with Basic Resident Register of
Toyokawa city who meets all the followings.
? Has completed 2 vaccinations or more.
?Has used all the mailed vaccination tickets (If unused vaccination tickets
are at hand, they can be used for vaccination for variant Omicron.).
? 3 months or more have passed since previous vaccination.
Others: If the person had taken previous vaccination in another
municipality and moved in Toyokawa city, or lost vaccination tickets, it is
necessary to take procedures. Those who wish to take vaccination are
asked to contact Toyokawa City Novel Corona Vaccine Call Center.

Support to cope with rising prices
City Policy and Planning Division (Kikaku Seisaku Ka)
As support for daily life to cope with rising prices etc., “Nationwide Common Rice
Tickets” are distributed to the citizens.
Eligibility: Person with Basic Resident Register of Toyokawa city as of August 1,
2022 whose registration continues until October 31, 2022
Content: 6 Nationwide Common Rice Tickets per person (1 tickets is worth 440
yen.)
Distribution method: From the beginning of December, the tickets are
sequentially delivered to respective households by postal package (Face to face
pickup is necessary.).
Others: The handling shops has stickers and flags. For details, call Toyokawa
City Life Support Project for Rising Prices Office (Tel ) (From
Thursday, December 1).
3. 給食費などの援助
Economic support for the expenses for school education
School Education Division (Gakko Kyoiku Ka)
Toyokawa City supports some expenses for school education to the household
which faces difficulties in finance to raise Elementary School/ Junior High School
students.
Types of Support: Expenses for school lunch, school supplies, necessary items
for schooling, school trip and so on.
Eligibility: The annual income of the household must meet the standard
determined by the Board of Education.
Application: New applicants should bring applicant’s bankbook to
the Toyokawa Board of Education, Otowa Branch Office 3F.
A household who has been continuing to receive this support should reapply to
the school which their children go to.
Others: For persons who moved in Toyokawa this year, the income certificate
issued by the City Hall of previous residence is required (Including the income
certificate of all the residents aged 20 or older in the same household.).
4. 市遺児の育成をはかる手当を支払います
Allowance for bringing up orphans is paid
Child Rearing Support Division (Kosodate Shien Ka)
The allowance for bringing up orphans will be paid to the designated bank
account on Thursday, December 15. Two months’ allowance, from November to
December, will be paid. The payment of allowance will not be notified
individually. Please check it with your bankbook etc.
