Information of COVID-19
About mailing coupons etc.
Since the end of September, vaccination against variant Omicron has been
conducted. Concerning vaccination interval which was informed Toyokawa
Newsletter October Edition, moving up the schedule was instructed by the
Central Government. According to this, schedule of mailing coupons is
changed from “5 months later” to “3 months later” of previous vaccination
day. Mailing coupons is scheduled as below.
Eligibility: Person aged 12 or older with Basic Resident Register of
Toyokawa city who meets all the followings.
? Has completed 2 vaccinations or more.
? Has used all the mailed vaccination tickets (If unused
vaccination tickets are at hand, they can be used for vaccination
against variant Omicron.).
? 3 months or more have passed since previous vaccination.
Others: If the person had taken previous vaccination in another
municipality and moved in Toyokawa city, or lost vaccination tickets, it is
necessary to take procedures. Those who wish to take vaccination are
asked to contact Toyokawa City Novel Corona Vaccine Call Center.

2. 二十歳の集い
20-year-old gathering
Lifelong Learning Division (Shogai Gakushu Ka)
With revision of Civil Law, adult age was lowered. Therefore, Coming of Age
Ceremony which were held for persons aged 20 will be held as “20-year-old
gathering”.
When: Sunday, January 8.
Time: For those who come from Tobu, Chubu, Daida, Mito, and Kozakai Junior
High School Districts, the reception desk opens at 10:00 am, and the ceremony
starts at 10:30 am. / For those who come from Nanbu, Seibu, Kanaya
Ichinomiya, and Otowa Junior High School Districts, the reception desk opens at
11:30 am, and the ceremony starts at noon.
Ceremony venue: Toyokawa Gymnasium, SOGO TAIIKUKAN, Main Arena.
Eligibility: Invitation letters will be mailed to the persons who were born
between April 2, 2002 and April 1, 2003 and have basic resident registration in
Toyokawa as of October 1, 2022. Due to the reasons such as moving out of
Toyokawa for work and school etc. or not having resident registration in spite of
living in Toyokawa, persons without the invitation letter are also welcomed to
attend the ceremony on the day.
Others: For preventing infectious spread of COVID-19, there is entrance
limitation with admittance only for eligible persons. For cars, the
parking lot at Nippon Sharyo, closes at 2:00pm, and Prio Parking (Free for 1
hour) will be available. Since the parking space is limited, please share a ride as
much as possible. Using public transportation is recommended.
3. 児童扶養手当を支払います
Child Rearing Allowance、Jido Fuyo Teate, will be paid
Child Rearing Support Division (Kosodate Shien Ka)
Child rearing allowance, Jido Fuyo Teate, will be transferred to the designated
bank account on Friday, November 11. This time of the payment is for 2 months
(September and October). The payment is NOT notified individually. Please check it with your bankbook etc.
