Subsidy for the tuition: For a private high school and a private advanced
vocational high school students
School Education Division (Gakko Kyoiku Ka)
Eligible persons:
As of October 1, the guardians who live in Toyokawa and pay the tuition for
their child who goes to a (full) (part time) private high school or a private
advanced vocational high school.
Amount of the subsidy: Granted based on the income.
Application: Get the application form at the school and submit it to the school
or the School Education Division (Otowa office 3F) by Wednesday, November
30. The application form is also available at the School Education Division.
7.豊川市パートナーシップ宣誓制度が始まりました
Toyokawa City Partnership Declaration System has started
Human rights, Crime-Prevention, and Public Transportation Division
(Jinken Kotsu Bohan Ka)
Toyokawa City Partnership Declaration System is for supporting couples of
sexual minorities (One partner or both of them). Afore-mentioned 2 persons
pledge to cooperate mutually as life partners and the city officially certifies the
attestation. Declaration enables the couple to apply for Municipal Housing (Shiei
Jutaku) which requires a family member living together, and to use service of
private sector partially.
Eligibility: Person who fulfills the followings.
1) Aged 18 or older, 2) At least 1 person has Basic Resident Register or
Toyokawa (Including person planning to move in Toyokawa)., 3) Does not have
a spouse., 4) There is no partnership with another person., 5) Pledging persons
are not close relatives.
Necessary documents: 1) Partnership Declaration Form, 2) Copy of Residence
Certificate (Jumin Hyo), or Certificate of the registered matters in the
Residence Certificate (Jumin Hyo Kisai Jiko Shomeisho), 3) Document which
certifies that the person does not have a spouse, 4) ID
Application: By phone or on City HP
Others: Confirm City HP or contact Human rights, Crime-Prevention and Public
Transportation Division for details.
■Procedure flow
STEP 1) Make a reservation in advance by phone or on City HP.
Date, time, and place are arranged. Necessary documents are mentioned.
STEP 2) Partnership Declaration
Bring necessary documents.
STEP 3) Issuing Certificate of Accepting Partnership Declaration Form etc.
Arranging the date, time, and place, and confirming necessary documents,
Certificate of Acceptance etc. is issued for the couple.

Major Cleaning Operation for river and sea
Road and River Maintenance Division (Doro Kasen Kanri Ka)
When: Sunday, October 23 from 9:00 am, about 1 hour (To be postponed to
Sunday, October 30 in case of stormy weather.)
Where: Mikami Ryokuchi, in front of Toyogawa Hosuiro (Flood bypass of
Toyogawa) Management Building, Tojo Kasenjiki ground (Dry riverbed ground),
Ikoi no Hiroba, by the dike in front of Ichinomiya Nanbu elementary school, and
Kanazawa Bashi Undo Hiroba (Sport ground)
