Support for household which cannot receive Temporary Special
Allowance due to reasons such as divorce and others
Child Rearing Support Division
Currently, Temporary Special Allowance is paid to child rearing households under
the influence caused by COVID-19. However, there are persons who cannot
receive the benefit due to reasons such as divorce and others despite bringing
up child. For helping afore-mentioned persons receive the benefit, the system
was revised.
Eligibility: Household which brings up newly child aged 17 years and younger
due to reasons such as divorce and others, and meets any of the following
conditions
? Was not eligible for Child Allowance (Jido Teate) of September payment quota
in 2021 but is eligible for Child Allowance of March payment quota in 2022.
? Was not bringing up senior high school student (Born between April 2, 2003
and April 1, 2006) at the point of September 30, 2021 but was bringing up senior
high school student at the point of February 28, 2022.
Sum of the payment: 100,000 yen per eligible child
Application: By Saturday, April 30 (Must arrive by this date.). Bring or send
application form with necessary documents to Child Rearing Support Division (〒
442-8601 Suwa 1 Chome 1). Application form is available at Child Rearing
Support Division.
Others: Please contact Child Rearing Support Division (Kosodate Shien Ka) for
details such as necessary documents etc.
9.犬の登録と狂犬病予防集合注射を実施
Dog registration and group vaccination for rabies
Environmental Division
A dog, aged 91 days and over, needs to be registered once in its lifetime and
given rabies vaccination every year under the Japanese law. If the schedule is
not convenient for you, take your dog(s) to any veterinaries giving rabies
vaccination.
Fee: 3,500 yen for rabies vaccination (Additional 3,000 yen is required for dog
registration only for newly registered one.)
Items to bring: Notification postcard and pet dog booklet (Which was issued to
those who had done dog registration)
Others: A pet dog booklet is distributed to the person who newly registers its
dog. Please prepare a memo of the owner’s name and address, a species of the
dog, its birthday, the color of its hair, sex and name to fill in the booklet. A dog
tag and vaccination certificate tag must be attached to the dog’s collar. Please
finish your dog’s excretion before you come and chain your dog when you come.
A person who can control the dog is requested to come to the venue.

Higashi Mikawa Shohi Seikatsu Toyokawa Center (Consumer Center) provides
consultation service concerning complaints about merchandise / service, troubles
over contract, false invoices, and multiple debts. Counselors are specialists and
give advice and information for solution. Consultation hour is from 9:00 am to
4:30 pm on weekdays. Please come directly to Higashi Mikawa Shohi Seikatsu
Toyokawa Center (North Bldg. 4F).
