Guidance for Nursery Schools and Kindergartens admission from April,
2022 school year
Nursery School Administration Division
Introduction for nursery schools and kindergartens admission from April, 2022
school year will be held as follows.
■Kindergartens:
Kindergartens provide various educational programs depending on the child’s
development. Application guidelines and forms will be distributed from
Wednesday, September 1 and application will start from Friday, October 1 at each
Kindergartens.
■Kodomo-en:
Toyokawa Higashi Yochi-en and Misono Kodomo-en are Kodomo-ens which
function both kindergarten and nursery school.
Application guidelines and forms will be distributed from Wednesday, September
1, and application for category (1) will start from Friday, October 1 at each
Kodomo-ens. For category (2) (3), please see HP of respective schools.
About detailed information of category classification, please ask respective
schools or Nursery School Administration Division.
■Nursery school, Hoiku-en / Small childcare establishment, SHOKIBO
HOIKU JIGYOSHO:
Nursery school is the facility that takes care of children whose guardian(s) is
(are) unable to take care of the children due to employment, child birth or other
reasons. Application forms will be distributed at each facilities, Nursery School
Administration Division (Main Bldg. 1F), or Child Rearing Support Center from
Wednesday, September 15, and they can be downloaded from City HP. Application
will be accepted from October 1 to 15 at each facilities. Please apply to your first
choice of the facility directly. About acceptance hours and implementation of
nursery with extra staff etc., please see City HP. For information of small
experiencing stay and open school yard of respective schools, please see the HP
of Child Rearing Support Center.

*Toyokawa Higashi Yochi-en (Suehiro Dori) will hold a Brief Guidance of
Admission on Thursday, September 9 and Tuesday, September 14 from 11:00
am in “the parent(s) and preschooler class”.
4. 本年度の国民健康保険料をお知らせします
National Health Insurance Premium for the 2021 fiscal year
Insurance and Pension Division
The National Health Insurance Premium for the 2021 fiscal year is fixed. Annual
Insurance Premium is divided in 8 terms and “Notification of National Health
Insurance for the 2021 fiscal year” will be posted in the middle of August.
■Reduction system for the National Health Insurance Premium
(Application is required.)
As of April 1 in 2021, household who meets any of the following cases can get
the reduction for National Health Insurance Premium.
Eligibility: Household with total annual income (January ? December in 2020)
is below the regulated amount and,
1. A single parent household rearing a child/ children, aged less than 20 years old.
2. A householder who has Physically Disabled Person’s Handbook (Shintai
Shogaisha Techo), Certificate of Intellectual Disability (Ryoiku Techo), Mental
Disability Certificate (Seishin Shogaisha Fukushi Techo).
Others: For further information such as application method, please contact
Insurance and Pension Division.
■Reduction system under the influence of COVID-19 (Application is required.)
For the household with income decrease due to the influence caused by COVID-
19, there are cases of National Health Insurance Premium reduction.
Eligibility:
1. Household whose principal breadwinner died or is in serious condition by
COVID-19 infection.
2. Household whose principal breadwinner has likely income decrease to certain
extent due to the influence caused by COVID-19.
Application: Applications must reach by Thursday, March 31, 2022. Please mail
application form etc. to Insurance and Pension Division (〒442-8601 Suwa 1
Chome 1). Documents such as application form can be downloaded from Official
HP of Toyokawa City.
