1. 新成人祝賀会
Coming of age ceremony
Lifelong Learning Division
When: Sunday, January 13.
The reception desk opens at 10:30 am and the ceremony starts at 11:00 am.
Ceremony venue: Main arena of Toyokawa Gymnasium, SOGO TAIIKUKAN.
Eligibility:
Invitation letters will be mailed to the persons who were born between April 2, 1998 and April 1, 1999 and have basic resident registration in Toyokawa as of October 1, 2018.
Persons without the invitation letter are also welcomed to attend the ceremony on the day.
Others:
For cars, the parking lot at Nihon Sharyo, closes at 1:00pm, will be available. But the parking space is limited. Please share a ride as much as possible.
Using public transportation is recommended.
2. トヨカワシティーマラソン大会に伴う交通規制
Traffic control due to Toyokawa City Marathon
Sports Division
Toyokawa City Marathon will be held on Sunday, November 18. Due to the marathon, traffic control will be conducted from 10:00 am to noon on the day.
Traffic jam will be predicted on Himekaido Road and along Sanagawa River.

3. 全国一斉情報伝達訓練
Nationwide emergency information transmission drill
Disaster Prevention Division
Nationwide emergency information transmission drill will be conducted using nationwide warning system, so called J-Alert.
When: Wednesday, November 21, around 11:00 am.
Test broadcasting will be announced using outdoor speakers and home receivers.

The minimum wage in Aichi was revised to 898 yen per hour on October 1, 2018.

5. ごみステーションの立ち番を実施
Watch-person at GOMI STATIONS, garbage dumps
Cleaning Operation Division
November is the month to enhance garbage separation.
Thanks to a big support of each neighborhood association, watch-persons will be placed at each GOMI STATION, garbage dump.
Please accurately separate your garbage into burnable, non-burnable, hazardous garbage and recyclables (cans, bottles, plastic bottles, paper and so on).
This is the time to consider how to reduce and recycle garbage.
6. 市遺児の育成をはかる手当
City allowance for bringing up orphans
Child Rearing Support Division
Allowance for orphans will be transferred to the designated bank account on Thursday, November 15.
4 -month allowance, from for August to for November, will be paid this time.
It will not be notified individually, so, please check it with your bankbook.
7. 児童虐待防止推進月間

November is the month to promote “Child Abuse Prevention.”
