This time of the year in Japan is Typhoon Season, many Typhoon are formed and hit the land frequently.
Not only the typhoon, but also would many kind of natural disaster such as Nankai Trough Great Earthquake and so on be expected in the future.

Toyokawa City will send and update an Emergency Information through “ANSHIN MAIL” and “FACEBOOK” in the event of a natural disaster,
therefore, please check both “ANSHIN MAIL” and “FACEBOOK” to get the information at that time.

There are 186 Chonaikai divided in the area of Toyokawa city and every households participate in the Chonaikai.
The Chonaikai functions to have a good living environment in the area conducted by mutual help, managing the garbage station,
installing and managing an outdoor security light and looking after or supporting the children and senior citizens’ activities of the area.

Moreover, the Chonaikai confirms the residents’ safety and manage the Evacuation Center when the Natural Disaster occurrence.

For your safety, we recommend that you join the Chonaikai and check the Evacuation Center in your residence area.
